Liverpool FC Activity in the Transfer Market Worrying [COMMENT]
It’s January, and Liverpool FC really need to improve their squad. What is really needed now is more quality, depth is not really a problem at the moment, in my opinion.
What’s worrying for is the fact that we’re currently being linked to the likes of Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha and Nathan Dyer of Swansea. In my opinion, they simply aren’t (at this moment in time) what Liverpool FC need. We can’t afford to slip further behind and keep believing to ourselves that the youngsters will eventually push through to the first XI. Kenny Daglish needs to make sure that we get that Champions League place and keep us in a good financial situation ahead of next season.
Targets that I see are rather required include Llorente. He’s class, he’s talented and realistically, I could seriously take anyone up front for Liverpool besides Andy Carroll at the moment (or at least have one man beside him to rely on to bang in the goals). He won’t come cheap though, as apparently Bilbao are trying to get around 20 million pounds for their Spanish striker.
Who else? Well, I see Liverpool FC as needing a new right winger and/or an attacking midfielder in the center. One that could play in both positions would be an added bonus in terms of versatility. I am saying that on the basis that we aren’t going to sell Andy Carroll in the next few years and that we’ll have to bank on him in the coming years. If Carroll’s going to be successful, he’s going to actually need some help from the wingers, basically, unlike what Stewart Downing has done so far.
In all, we have realistically actually invested a total of 55 million pounds of (at time of writing) wasted money, as the only reason why we got Downing was really to accommodate for Andy Carroll’s apparently fantastic heading ability, something that Liverpool haven’t seen so often given the lack of quality crosses into the box.
As demonstrated against Newcastle where he was feeding of Steven Gerrard’s crosses, he can indeed be a potent weapon, but only with good balls into the box, and I have to stress this fact – they have to be higher – Liverpool FC’s crosses often are really low and that’s not exactly ideal for a 6 foot + striker inside the box. He’s good with the volley, but it’s with his heading ability where he stands out among the rest.
So we really need a right winger.

So we should sign J.Navas for £22m.or if we can sign a rubbish player like carrol for £35m,then why not E.Hazard for the same £35m????
Think that Jesus Navas is a superb player, just severely underrated. Same can be said of Hazard, but I doubt Liverpool will spend big, although Joe Cole’s form at Lille could play a part in a potential deal! XD
Downing and Hendersen should be sent to the formation school.Kelly and Flano are showing their worth.
I dont see why Hendersen is playing 90mins every match and no reason why he is starting up in matches.I am believeing that KK is afraid question marks will bee jotted if in case he doesnt line up Hendersen because of his price tagged.
But KK should realise these lads have failed him
